3. Figure Out Your Motivation
You need to have a “why” when it comes to achieving your goal of learning a language. Without having a clear motivation for learning the language, you might continually put it off or make excuses to not put in the work. You should be actively using the language every day. You need to actively use your target language if you want to learn it.
6. Visit/Stay In A Country That Speaks Your Target Language
This is not going to be realistic for everyone. However, if you are looking to travel and you have the means to do so, you could always schedule either a vacation or a trip to a country that speaks your target language and get real-world practice. This will allow you to immerse yourself in the language which can improve your ability to learn the language due to being able to practice more. You can even sign up for in-person tutoring sessions while you’re in the country to speed up the immersion process.
Overall, there are plenty of ways you can actively learn a new language no matter how old you are. By implementing some of the tips above, you will be able to learn a brand new language and achieve your language learning goals.
